The Riera de Sorreigs is a natural space structured around the central part of the course of the Riera de Sorreigs, in the Ter basin.
Due to its characteristics, this space presents natural systems of notable interest that stand out from the surrounding lands, especially for the particular interest of its fluvial ecosystems, with aquatic vegetation and limnological systems that constitute a representative sample of the Ausonian sector.
Impacts
Agricultural activities cause water pollution processes, especially organic ones. Often, the water from the WWTP plant in the centre of Sant Boi de Lluçanès contaminates the water.
Natural vulnerability
There is some vulnerability of wetland vegetation and limnological systems. The same happens with certain Central European plant species located in the shady areas and certain rare species of invertebrate fauna.
Consult the activities offered by the natural area.
