Natural Park of Cap de Creus
Set between land and sea, Cap de Creus Natural Park is an area of outstanding beauty with a unique geological arrangement of structures and outcrops which make up an ensemble unique in the world. The tramuntana north wind has transformed its landscape, featuring extremely attractive coves and a seabed which is a biodiversity reserve.
Some tracks on the road network passable by vehicles may be closed during part of the year, especially during spring and summer, the times of highest risk of forest fire and reproduction of threatened species. The most important ones are:
• Sant Onofre from Mas Ventós: closed from March to September
• Mas Marés in Pla de Gates: closed from March to September
• Punta Falconera: closed from March to September
• El Port de la Selva in Tavellera and in Perafita: closed from Easter to October.
