Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park
Set right in the heart of the Pyrenees, Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park is made up of spectacular mountains with peaks as high as 3,000 metres and dramatic ridges, leafy forests and green meadows where water, with over 200 lakes and numerous rivers, ravines and wetlands, takes centre stage.
The Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park will be applying access regulations for public use in force until the first week of September. The car parks have limited capacities and, when they are full, they are closed to private vehicles. The access alternative in this case is the use of the public transport service to access the Park or on foot through the network of accessible trails. From 22 June to 30 September, the Park Bus shuttle service will also be operational, allowing access by public transport to most of the accesses.
