RNP Medes Islands

The Medes Islands are seven islets which make up a landscape of outstanding beauty, unique in Catalonia. The land environment, an integrated reserve which cannot be visited, is a huge refuge for birds, while the sea environment makes them exceptional, including walls of coral, seagrass meadows and underwater caves and tunnels.

It is a partial nature reserve which can be experienced on a boat trip, underwater excursions, snorkelling tours and in a wide range of activities run by the businesses licensed to operate in the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park.
