Ivars i Vila-sana Lake was restored in 2005 after the old lake dried up in the middle of the last century. It is a freshwater lake, although it was originally a terminal lake, and has a surface area of 126 hectares of water and an average depth of less than 2 metres. It is the largest inland lake in Catalonia and home to considerable biological diversity. Explore it along its hiking routes.
