Mont-rebei Gorge

The Mont-rebei Gorge cuts across the Montsec mountain range from north to south, the first major formation in the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees. The Foundation’s reserve protects almost 600 hectares on the Catalan side: the gorge and the banks of the river (where the otter lives), the cliffs (home to large birds of prey) and part of the shady slope of the Montsec d’Ares (covered with oaks). Explore it by hiking the gorge trail or kayaking along its water.

Access on foot to the gorge path is open every day, but the car park and information point will only be open on those days scheduled in the calendar.
