Cala Montgó

In the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park straddling the border between l’Escala and Torroella de Montgrí, Montgó cove offers a haven from the tramuntana north wind.

Anchoring in the cove is subject to municipal regulation. In order to protect the posidonia meadow, it is not permitted to drop anchor, but rather you need to tie up to the buoys intended for anchoring boats. You have to pay for the service and it can be booked with Naviliera Les Goges, the company in charge.
